JOB SUMMARY

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance throughout the Bottling Hall, and surrounding areas. Ensures that workspaces and floors are cleaned and maintained in accordance with established health, safety, and sanitation standards. The Cleaner performs routine and scheduled cleaning duties and removal of waste. This role also assists in maintaining an orderly work environment and reports any maintenance, safety, or sanitation issues to the appropriate supervisor. Through consistent attention to detail and proper use of cleaning materials and equipment, the Cleaner contributes to a safe, hygienic, and well-maintained workplace.      

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Ensure crates and bottles are stored in the correct area.
• Cleans walls in the Bottling Hall area.
• Clean hand-washing stations.
• Ensure that there is no buildup of garbage and dump, when necessary.
• Cleaning of conveyor lines.
• Complete all relevant Bottling Hall cleaning log.
• Report all out-of-specification situations to Shift Supervisor or Bottling Hall Supervisor in timely fashion.
• Keep machines and the surrounding areas in the Bottling Hall clean and tidy.
• Perform any other related duties required by the job function.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years’ of experience in manufacturing or a related field

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of basic Health and Safety principles.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
