Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing CARIB Brewery (Grenada) Limited’s accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records The role also drives continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and financial governance.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that provide strategic management insight.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements, accounting standards, statutory regulations, company policies, and financial reporting obligations
• Evaluate financial and operational processes to ensure effective cost management, cost optimization, and profitability
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, operational inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement within the Finance Department.

Qualification and/or Experience:

• BSc. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• ACCA, CPA, CGA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting designation.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounting including two (2) years’ in a supervisory or management role.   
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audits, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or a similar ERP system.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
