JOB TITLE:                             SALES REPRESENTATIVE - JLR

 

OBJECTIVES AND GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

 

To plan and organize the sales and marketing of the Company’s products to increase revenue and market share. To develop and maintain excellent customer relationships. The Sales Representative sells by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; closing sales.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensures customer satisfaction and engagement through the effective use of the Customer Relationship Management System
  • Understands company brands by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles
  • Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions
  • Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport
  • Demonstrates company brands by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile
  • Ensures revenues for vehicle sales are met or exceeds budget
  • Maintains the company positioning in its market segment by generating ideas to increase market share
  • Continuously updates knowledge of company and competitor products and services
  • Submit customer reports on a timely basis and ensure databases are continuously updated
  • Develops and assesses new and existing business strategies and opportunities in existing and new markets
  • Ensure teamwork is practiced and maintained
  • Ensures compliance with all Group and company policies and procedures, including AML and CFT regulations
  • Handles any such additional responsibilities as may be necessary from time to time to ensure the smooth operation of the department

 

EDUCATION

 

  • Degree in Business Management or Marketing
  • At least 4 years experience in sales
  • Must be computer literate
