Direct Sales Officer

POSITION SUMMARY
The key role of the Direct Sales Officer is to promote and grow the life insurance business within the company. The role includes creating sales leads, cross- and up- selling existing clients, monitoring industry trends, and keeping abreast of competitor’s products, and pricing in the market.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Promote the Company’s products and services to existing and prospective clients.
- Conducts detailed Financial Analysis on clients to establish their needs and meet them using Tatil Life’s suite of products.
- Networking: Attending industry events and conferences to connect with potential clients and partners.
- Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining relationships with brokers, agents, and other partners.
- Market Research: Identifying potential markets and understanding customer needs.
- Proposal Development: Preparing proposals and presentations to pitch services or products to prospective clients
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five (5) CSEC passes including Mathematics and English A
- Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant fields will be an asset.
- LOMA training will be an asset
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in proven sales
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience a Life Insurance Company or Financial Services Company will be an asset
