JOB SUMMARY


To achieve and exceed sales targets by maintain a high level of product knowledge and providing excellent customer service.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To establish, develop and maintain relationships with customers to foster sales and market growth.

 

  1. To provide clients with a presentation of new vehicles inclusive of but not limited to:
  1. Product knowledge of models sold by the Company and those sold by our competitors.
  2. Adequate understanding of the terms and conditions of finance packages available and trade-in allowances.
  3. Assist customer on sourcing competitive vehicle insurance coverage when required.
  4. Knowledge of the Company’s aftersales services offered, e.g. manufacturers’ warranty offered on brands.

 

  1. To use the CDK System to accurately add new prospects prior to conducting a test drive/demonstration of the vehicle.  Details of new prospects to include but not limited to clients’ name, telephone contact numbers, email address, reason for calling or visiting (i.e. promotions, referral etc.), status of customer to be identified (cost/warm/hot) and follow ups done in specified time as per prospect status. All prospects must be entered in CDK in order to reflect accurate monthly closing ratio.

 

  1. Sale & Delivery process:
  1. Provide quotations to customers using CDK in adherence to all policies and procedures for using CDK.
  2. To create all Sales Leads in Eleads/CDK, ensuring all leads are assigned to CFC.
  3. To perform all automated triggers in accordance with Eleads/CDK setups.
  4. All updates to Sales Leads customer next actions are to be entered into the System, not limited to telephone calls, appointments and emails, notes must be accompanied by all Leads.
  5. Provide Sales Admin with approval from finance company upon agreement to purchase by client to book sale in CDK.
  6. Generate cheque request for vehicle licensing fee processing.
  7. Secure down payment/full payment and all other requisite documents to complete the sale.
  8. Keep abreast of pre-delivery inspection status to ensure on-time delivery of vehicles to customers. Inspect preparation of vehicle before delivery.   Vehicles must, without exception, be in the best possible condition for delivery to customer.
  9. Provide client with following document on vehicle delivery: AMBB warranty letter, valu-guard certificate, registration details of vehicle, manufacturer’s warranty booklet.
  10. A complete knowledge of the features and their functions must be demonstrated to the customer at delivery.
  11. Knowledge of the recommended service schedule is required to be communicated to the customer.
  12. Active delivery is necessary.  Engage the customer upon delivery by taking them across to the Service Reception and introduce them to the Service Team and Manager and to assist where necessary to book the Customer’s first service appointment.

 

  1. Provide effective customer support to client after the sale/delivery:
  1. Through active/frequent communication via telephone calls, emails, in-person visits and presentations.
  2. Client contact after delivery as per schedule: 2 weeks / 3 months / 6 months and annually.
  3. Update customer contact comments on CDK. 

 

  1. Assist with the vehicle valuation process and discuss value and vehicle details prior to approval. All pre-accident valuations must be done in collaboration with the Sales Manager and signed by same.

 

  1. Provide Sales Admin with full documentation for vehicle trade-in, inclusive of the follow:
  1. Trade in confirmation signed by CEO & Manager, VIF report, current valuation on the vehicle to be traded, letter of sale to AMBB, seller’s letter to Licensing Authority advising sale to AMBB, invoice to AMBB if seller is a company, copy of road tax disc if vehicle road tax is not current.

 

  1. Keep abreast of product knowledge of models sold by the company and those sold by the competitors.

 

  1. Ensure all HSSE policies and procedures are strictly enforced and adhered to at all time.

 

  1. Maintain a clean, tidy, safe, and presentable working environment, ensuring that housekeeping is maintained, and security procedures enforced resulting in a safe and attractive work environment for customers and staff.

 

  1. To perform any duties which are related to the above as requested by Management.
