Point of Sale (POS)/ Sponsorship Coordinator

Suitably qualified applicants are invited to apply for the position of Point of Sale (POS)/ Sponsorship Coordinator.
REPORTING LINE:
The Point of Sale (POS)/ Sponsorship Coordinator reports to the Head of Brand Marketing.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supplier & Production Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between Carib Brewery and POS suppliers to review, refine, and approve all proposed POS items.
- Partner closely with Marketing teams to identify, select, and co-develop innovative POSM solutions that address both existing requirements and emerging opportunities across all brands and markets.
- Ensure all POS materials, whether standard or newly developed are aligned with brand guidelines, quality standards, and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to adapt designs, materials, and finishes that enhance visibility, durability, and consumer engagement while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs (cost, quality, compliance, and lead time) and provide structured feedback for continuous improvement.
- Manage warehousing requirements in collaboration with suppliers, ensuring accurate stockholding, proper handling, and readiness for distribution.
- Procurement & Financial Governance
- Work closely with Carib Brewery Trinidad and Tobago Procurement team to ensure all transactions comply with ANSA McAL Group’s Blue Book Policy.
- Support cost negotiations, financial reconciliations, and supplier performance reviews.
- Track and report on budget utilization, cost savings, and supplier metrics.
- Cross-Market Coordination
- Coordinate POS requirements across all breweries (CBTT, CB Grenada, CB St. Kitts & Nevis, and Carib Brewery USA) and international distributors.
- Partner with Carib Brewery International Business, Market Managers, and the International Marketing Manager to align on asset needs per market.
- Manage forecasting, ordering cycles, and delivery schedules to ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) compliance and avoid obsolete stock.
- Logistics & Delivery
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics process for all Point of Sale (POS) materials, ensuring seamless movement from supplier dispatch through warehousing, customs clearance, and final delivery to both local and international markets.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers to manage shipping documentation, HS codes, and regulatory requirements, minimizing delays and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.
- Develop and maintain delivery schedules that align with market-specific promotional calendars, ensuring OTIF (On Time, In Full) delivery to distributors and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor shipment tracking, proactively address bottlenecks or delays, and provide timely updates to Marketing, Procurement, and International Business teams.
- Manage financial and operational aspects of cross-border deliveries, including currency calculations, duty/tax reconciliations, and alignment with Carib Brewery’s procurement and finance policies.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles across deliveries to prevent stock obsolescence and maintain inventory integrity.
- Continuously evaluate logistics partners’ performance (cost efficiency, lead time, accuracy, and service reliability) and recommend improvements or alternative solutions where necessary.
- Collaborate with warehousing teams to maintain accurate records of inbound/outbound shipments and provide full visibility through reporting dashboards.
- Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain an accurate database of POS materials, including cost, supplier details, lead times, and inventory status.
- Develop monthly reporting dashboards to track spend, supplier KPIs, and market distribution.
- Identify and implement process improvements for POS procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
- Sponsorship & Events Coordination
- Ensures appropriate set up (e.g. signage, caterer, equipment, tables, parking, security, seekers, ensue etc.) for all associated company events
- Arranges and coordinates external Company events including meetings, conferences, media briefings launch events. This also involves assisting Sponsorship and Events Manager or Senior Management in the planning stages of events.
- Works with the Sponsorship and Events manager in planning room layouts and the entertainment programme for company sponsored events as required.
- Works with External Affairs Team in preparing administrative documents for various events (e.g. media briefings, conferences, meetings, launches, brand sponsored events).

- Coordinates payments for vendors from sponsored events
- Product Releases
- Coordinates with suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly.
- Represents the Company where necessary, at events/ presentations, which includes delivering an address and distribution of prizes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following, Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (required).
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, marketing operations, supply chain, or project management (experience in FMCG/CPG or beverage industry preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Certificate in Event Planning and/or Marketing is an asset
- Experience with project management tools and reporting dashboards is an asset.
- Strong understanding of financial compliance, procurement best practices, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse teams and markets.
