  1. OBJECTIVES AND GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

SUMMARY OF JOB: The Warehouse Attendant is assigned to the Logistics Department and is responsible for accurately and promptly completing assigned tasks, in accordance with company standards set by the Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assume responsibility for the receipt, storage, handling, and packing of products in clearly designated warehouse locations, ensuring compliance with warehouse procedures and maintaining accountability for inventory accuracy, product care, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Assume responsibility for the accurate picking, assembly, confirmation, and traceability of paint orders in line with approved order forms and authorized listings, ensuring on-time, in-full customer order fulfilment, and providing complete, accurate documentation to support batch traceability, FTI, RFCA, and Credit Note (CN) audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring that all picked and assembled orders undergo mandatory validation by a supervisor or authorized representative prior to any transfer, loading, or dispatch, maintaining accountability for accuracy, traceability, and compliance, and ensuring that no order progresses without formal approval.
  • Assume responsibility for transferring validated orders to the Billing Clerks only after confirming that all supporting documentation is complete, accurate, and properly authorized, maintaining accountability for billing accuracy and compliance with internal control requirements.
  • Assume responsibility for assisting in the loading of validated and released orders onto delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled safely, secured correctly, and protected from damage, while adhering to safety standards and operational controls.
  • Execute and support the loading of walk-in customer vehicles strictly following order verification, billing, and release authorization, ensuring compliance with operational controls and maintaining accountability for correct product handover.
  • Manage and assist with the transfer of products to and from the Production Department in accordance with approved internal transfer protocols, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready. Take full accountability for identifying, recording, and reporting any discrepancies to the Shift Manager, supporting operational integrity and process compliance.
  • Assist with the packing, sealing, and preparation of export containers in strict compliance with export regulations, company procedures, and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental) requirements. Ensure all documentation, container contents, and packaging meet accuracy, safety, and quality standards. Maintain accountability for verifying the integrity of containers prior to dispatch, reporting any discrepancies or non-conformities, and supporting supervisory oversight and formal verification processes.
  • Assist with the off-loading of incoming containers as required, ensuring all products are counted, inspected for condition, and verified against accompanying documentation. Take full accountability for identifying, recording, and immediately reporting any discrepancies, damages, or irregularities to the Supervisor, maintaining compliance with HSSE requirements, internal procedures, and operational standards.
  • Immediately identify and report any spillage, leakage, damage, shortages, discrepancies, or other non-conformances to the Chargehand or Supervisor. Take full accountability for ensuring timely escalation, cooperating fully with any investigations, and supporting corrective actions, while maintaining compliance with HSSE requirements, operational procedures, and internal audit standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, in line with HSSE standards and housekeeping procedures.
  • Participate in stock-taking, cycle counts, and inventory verification activities as required, ensuring that all counts are accurate, complete, and in full compliance with established internal controls and procedures. Take ownership of identifying, recording, and reporting any discrepancies, variances, or anomalies to the Supervisor or Shift Manager, maintaining accountability for inventory integrity, traceability, and audit readiness.
  • Participate in all mandatory Training and Development activities, including refresher training on warehouse controls, HSSE, and standard operating procedures. Take full accountability for applying the knowledge and skills acquired from such training in daily operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, safety standards, and best operational practices.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of and perform all duties in accordance with procedures as per ISO 9001:2015 standards, the Ansa Coatings Limited Quality Manual and OSHA.
  • Perform any other related duties as may be required from time to time.
