Motor Assessor/Adjuster

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for accurately assessing the damage/loss incurred by policy holders to determine cost-effective and safe repair methods
while ensuring the best outcome for the customer and the needs of the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Provides prompt and quality Customer Service by projecting and demonstrating a high level of professionalism, courtesy and initiative in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
2. Conducts on and off-site surveys on claims 30% of sum insured and lower.
3. Prepares report with-in 24 hours of conduction of survey 4. Negotiates settlement with insureds, third parties agents and repairers upon completion of survey and report5. Liaises with Adjuster, Investigator, Broker and Repairer within 24 hours of receipt of instruction from Manager
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 CXC passes inclusive Math and English
- Diploma will be an asset
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience of motor accident damage repair practices.
