GROUP INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER - ANSA McAL LIMITED
JOB SUMMARY
The Group Internal Audit Manager is responsible for leading and delivering risk-based audit engagements that provide assurance over the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls. The role manages audits from planning through reporting, ensuring that audit programs are aligned to key risks, fieldwork is executed efficiently, and findings are supported by robust evidence and meaningful root cause analysis. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions, the incumbent provides insightful recommendations that strengthen controls, improve operational performance, and mitigate business risks.
The Group Internal Audit Manager also serves as a key people leader, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional development within audit teams. By leveraging data analytics, automation tools, and risk-focused methodologies, the role enhances audit efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards across engagements. Through proactive stakeholder management, monitoring of corrective actions, leadership of investigations, and identification of recurring risk themes and systemic issues, the incumbent plays a critical role in helping the Group improve governance, achieve strategic objectives, and sustain a strong control culture.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews audit programs for alignment with key risks and audit objectives.
- Ensures audit work and findings comply with methodology and professional standards.
- Develops impactful findings and practical recommendations.
- Leads end-to-end audit execution within approved timelines and budgets.
- Prepares clear, concise and impactful audit reports.
- Manages stakeholder expectations and resolves audit-related issues.
- Implements process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Manages team performance and provides ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Monitors remediation progress and challenges delays or unsupported requests.
- Recommends operational and control improvements that enhance performance.
- Leads investigations and ensures evidence is complete, reliable and well documented.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Six (6) to ten (10) years of Internal Audit experience.
- Exposure to multiple business functions (Finance, IT, Operations)
- Holding or progressing toward certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is required.
- Holding Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is an additional asset.
