Customer Retention Representative I

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for advising clients on viable solutions with the main objective of facilitating conservation related activities in conjunction with Sales Admin, Customer Service, Client Services, New Business / Underwriting and Claims. The incumbent should provide effective and efficient customer service to both internal and external clients in alignment with the Company’s goals and objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide the expected level of service to the client in support of the Agent efforts and Company Retention Initiatives and Guidelines
- Receive/Acquire sales or leads (expressions of interest)
- Conduct closing on behalf of Agent on record or as advised by Sales Admin
- Advance/Action cross-sell, up-sell and retention efforts
- Conduct customer needs analysis and recommend appropriate solution/s
- Submission of all required documents to close sale
- Engage orphan clients assigned by Sales Admin and or CRU, Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, advance recommendations
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 CXC ‘O’ Levels, including Mathematics and English
- A’ Levels
- LOMA diploma – FLMI / ACS
TRAINING
- Training in Microsoft Office Suite and other operating software with intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Training in Customer Service procedures and policies.
EXPERIENCE
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a Customer Service / Sales Environment in the financial services industry, and/or Conservation.
