ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited is seeking a results-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong technical expertise who enjoys solving customer challenges, building lasting relationships, and delivering innovative chemical and equipment solutions across a diverse range of industries.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will identify business opportunities, provide technical recommendations, and help customers improve operational performance while driving sustainable revenue growth.

What You'll Do

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow revenue, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships.
• Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate customer systems, identify performance gaps, and recommend practical solutions.
• Recommend specialty and commodity chemicals, treatment programs, equipment, and services to optimise customer operations.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Negotiate and close contracts to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with service and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of customer solutions.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and customer records within the CRM system.
• Build long-term partnerships by providing exceptional customer support and technical expertise.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Experience in technical sales, business development, industrial services, water treatment, chemical manufacturing, or a related field.
• Strong ability to identify customer needs and deliver value-driven technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Broad understanding of water treatment processes is highly desirable.
• Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's permit and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
