OBJECTIVES AND GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
SUMMARY OF JOB
Oversees and coordinates the Company's quality control activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures. Supervises Quality Attendants and supports the Quality Manager in maintaining and enhancing the Company's Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Management Systems to ensure product quality, compliance with standards, and effective team performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and guide the Quality Attendants in their daily quality control tasks to ensure effective execution and maintain high quality standards.

Coordinate and oversee quality inspection processes for packaged products and incoming raw materials to ensure adherence to established quality standards and maintain product integrity.

Maintain and update quality inspection reports and logs to provide accurate records and support data-driven decision-making.

Evaluate and determine the acceptability of reworked products to ensure compliance with quality standards and minimize production defects.

Conduct internal quality audits as scheduled to assess adherence to quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.

Support the Quality Manager in the development and implementation of quality control programs to enhance overall quality management and drive continuous improvement.

Assist in the coordination of chemical laboratory activities and product certifications to ensure consistent quality control and support research and development initiatives.

Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department to optimize processes and reduce defects.

Collaborate with the Quality Manager in the planning and execution of internal quality, safety, and environmental audits to ensure compliance with established standards and promote best practices.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Quality Manager to support departmental objectives and ensure effective quality management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Formal Education
Degree Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, preferably within a manufacturing or chemical plant environment.
